So. My first blog. Hmmm. What to write? I could talk about a lot of things: children, writing, editing, town life, university life, the family bed, attachment parenting, education, flaming liberals (of whom I am one), love, peace, partnership, unity, fellowship. And I'm sure I'll probably talk about all of those subjects so dear to my heart, eventually. But I'll start at the beginning of the list. Children. I have two daughters, 2 yrs and 7 mos respectively. Now peacefully (albeit intermittently) sleeping, at last. Insomniacs both it seems, like their mother. The white knight and the dark horse as my sister and brother-in-law call them; opposites in most traits but equally lovely and charming. Had I not started so late I'm sure I'd have a dozen. I may even have one more yet. Pregnancy isn't such fun but the end result certainly is. Well anyway, it's after midnight and has taken me quite some time to figure out how to get this thing going (if, indeed, I actually have). So more later, I guess. Ah, and just in time. I hear the clicking of the door. Here comes the 2 year old yet again....
